STUDENT AWARDS & COMMENDATIONS
CHAMPIONS OF CHARACTER
Click on the links below to view the honored students.
CHAMPIONS OF CHARACTER consist of 6 units with each lasting for 6 weeks. Each unit correlates to one of Imagine's pillars of character. Some teachers choose the recipients while others let the classes vote. The student is chosen based on being a good model of that particular trait.
Champions get a special pizza lunch with the principal and also receive a certificate and bumper sticker.
At the end of the year there will be one student at each grade level acknowledged as the student of the year.
SCIENCE FAIR
On May 4th, 24 of our students in grades 4th thru 8th participated in the West Florida Regional Science Fair. Congratulations to the following students on their placement:
4th Grade:
Logan Sweeney - 2nd place
Kody Taggart - 2nd place
Dana Hunter - 3rd place
5th Grade:
Maddy Driggers - 2nd place
Cade Vitale - 3rd place
All remaining students received Honorable Mention.
Logan, Kody, and Maddy have all advanced to the Florida State Competition to be held May 19th in Orlando where they will compete in their category against students from around the state. Good luck!!!!!
STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2011-2012

excellent character and excellent academic achievement throughout the school year.
After the teachers get together and recommend a few students for this award, their names are submitted to the
Character Development Team where each student's achievements are scrutinized and
reviewed before the student is selected for this extraordinary honor.
